I love the random birds segments – maybe my favorite, but I take umbrage with Ted Floyd’s dismissal of the chipping sparrow as a boring, brown bird. I live in MT and many of us here wait for the arrival of these beauties every season. They bring a new an distinct sound to the birdscape and the richness of the color on the top of their heads is anything but boring. I’d urge you to spend some more time with this beautiful species and you’ll likely change your tune.
Love the pod. Keep up the great work.
