Photo Quiz 7

Answer to Previous (by Chris West): The long, barred tail is a good clue that this hawk is an Accipiter. But is it a Sharpie, or a Cooper's? This bird displays broad, rounded wings and a lightly rounded tail, typical of a Cooper's Hawk. Note the number of black bands on the tail. Typically, Sharp-shinned has more black bands than Cooper's. The large, heavy looking head and stockier build suggests Cooper's Hawk.
