8:30AM–64 species, including Bachman's Sparrow, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, and big kettle of Mississippi Kites. They've also gone through two boxes of poptarts and several bags of beef jerky….mmmmmmmm

Keep returning to this post for updates on the Tropicbirds progress. If they get over 170 species, Chip will shave his head…go team go! ๐Ÿ˜‰

11:45AM–92 species, recently added Fish Crow and Swallow-tailed Kite. The team is on their way to Anahuac and Chip is sticking carrots up his nose ;{

2:39PM–155 species, new additions include American Oystercatcher, Common Tern, and Wilson's Plover

And they have Magnificent Frigatebird!

5:30PM–181 species, highlights include Hudsonian Godwit, Horned Lark and Lark Sparrow (a review species). Other new additions include Baird's Sandpiper and Seaside Sparrow. Still missing Black-bellied Whistling-duck. The team is heading towards High Island and Chip will have to find something else to shave for the World Series of Birding (his eyebrows maybe?)

8:15PM–205 species, they are now looking for owls as the day fades. Congrats team, it's not over and you've already racked up a spectacular list!

Sorry for the late update-the team finished with 207 species. AMAZING! Congrats guys
