The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival occurs along the shores of Lake Michigan to celebrate the area’s rich biodiversity and bird-watching opportunities. Activities include over 150 guided carpool and van tours to view migrating birds, presentations, workshops, live birds of prey, and more. The festival also includes a vendor marketplace, evening excursions and social events, and a family friendly “birds and brews” with special themed beer and cider. The Saturday keynote presentation with 2020 speaker, Scott Weidensaul, includes dinner, silent auction, and vendor marketplace. General early-bird registration begins in early March.
