The Banding Coalition of the Americas operates this federally-licensed bird banding event each fall at Fort Morgan Historic Site in Gulf Shores, AL–continuing 30 years of research and public outreach by Bob and Martha Sargent. Join us and enjoy a great experience learning about birds, banding, and seeing the birds up close. Ask questions of our highly trained and licensed banders, and take photos of the birds as they are banded and displayed before being released. Enjoyed by all ages and anyone with a love of nature, the outdoors and birds–this event is an unusual opportunity that is open to the public to attend.
