This is a unique Texas birding experience that includes educational programs, tours on private, public, and restricted-access lands, and so much more. Join us in Val Verde County, Texas, for a birding experience in the borderlands of southwest Texas! On The first day, you will learn about the area and expected species while enjoying a Kickoff Social full of local flavor. The next three days are full of choices for you to bird on both public lands and private ranches in a variety of habitats, with seminars and a trade show during the heat of the day. We will travel through the Edwards Plateau, South Texas Brush, and unique habitats of the Del Rio area to find target species such as golden-cheeked warbler, black-capped vireo, Morelet’s seedeater, black-tailed gnatcatcher, elf owl, and all three species of kingfisher.
