Enjoy this celebration of birding with great food, music, and art while helping the ABA help birds and birders!

At this afternoon party, we will announce the species, and unveil the painting of the 2020 ABA Bird of the Year, by Chicago icon and prominent American artist Tony Fitzpatrick.

There will be a limited run of posters and other memorabilia of the 2020 Bird of the Year art available, and Tony will be on-hand to sign yours!

2020 ABA Bird of the Year sponsor KINSLAHGER will be pouring pints of one of their craft brews (free with ticket purchase – 21 and over). This lager focused craft brewery has developed some of Chicago’s newest knockout beers, including Chicago Common, Prohibition Pilsner, Sauvin Blanc brut lager, and their venerable Baltic Porter.

Full cash bar will also be open.

Raul Parra leads The Revue, with heavyweight Chicago-style blues and rock.

Raul’s blues guitar follows in the footsteps of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, with a power and glide all its own.

Mark Anderson, Andon Davis, Michael Krayniak, and Paul Bivans make up Bunkertown which is roots rock and folkish songs about everyday life (i.e. fantasical songs about the mundane). There will be dancing!
