
Chris Warren has been a die-hard birder since the age of fifteen. After first picking up a copy of Peterson's Guide his life's passion was set in stone. His career in ornithology began while earning his Bachelor's degree from Earlham College in Richmond, IN. He has had great opportunities to travel to and bird many places around the U.S. and the world including Tanzania, Belize and Ecuador/Galapagos. After graduation he spent the next few years working as a bird survey technician. He spent a year working for Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory in Colorado before moving to Oregon and conducting Spotted Owl surveys for two years.
Chris now lives in San Marcos, TX with his wife, Heather, and attends Texas State University earning his Master's degree in Population and Conservation Biology working with Golden-cheeked Warblers.
