Birders' Exchange
Promoting good science and public awareness in Neotropical regions ABA's world-renown outreach initiative has successfully addressed Neotropical migratory bird issues. Your support helps Birders'Exchange supply equipment and educational tools to researchers, educators and conservationist who can use it to help in conservation efforts and introduce birding to a new receptive audience of adults and children.
Education
Our workshops provide birders with a comprehensive look at birds, including field identification, natural history and conservation of birds. The youth education programs offer a variety of programs for local schools and for young birders. Your gift to these programs means we can continue to reach a new audience by initiating them to nature and birds.
Friends of NAB
Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to publish more color photographs, more articles and features, more data-rich, well-illustrated regional reports, and the addition of Greenland to our reporting area. We have also been able to offer twenty-five years of issues of NAB from 1973-2007 through the online Searchable Ornithological Research Archive (SORA) at http://elibrary.unm.edu/sora/NAB/.
